Aeschynanthus Radicans, more commonly known as a lipstick plant, is a popular and striking evergreen tropical houseplant. This plant gets its name from its vibrant red flowers. In ideal conditions this plant can flower prolifically but will require the right balance of light and humidity. The plant is in its original plastic pot and removable from its grey glazed pot. When watering make sure no water is pooled in the pot.

Light: This plant enjoys a spot with bright indirect sunlight. Do not place the plant in direct sunlight as it will scorch the leaves.

Water: This plant enjoys constant moisture but does not tolerate being overwatered. Water sparingly but often to keep the soil even moist. The lipstick plant is prone to root rot if overwatered.

Note: This plant enjoys a humid location and would fare well in a well lit bathroom. The flowers do give off a slightly pungent smell, though it is not strong.
