Asplenium Osaka Planter

Asplenium is an attractive and easy to look after indoor fern that will brighten any indoor space. They are pet-friendly and excellent air purifiers according to NASA! This plant comes in a black ceramic pot with wooden stand and has been directly potted. There is no drainage hole and care should be taken when watering. 

These plants are native to Hawaii and the Pacific Islands. They love warmth and humidity.

General Care Instructions:  

• Light: This fern prefers moderate indirect light and deep shade to maintain its wrinkled shape. Too much light can cause the leaves to yellow.

• Water: Asplenium’s prefer evenly moist surroundings. Never allow the soil to become dry to the touch. However, take care not to allow the plant to sit in water as this can lead to root rot. Water from the edge and not in the centre of the plant. 

• Notes: This plant does well grouped with similar fern plants! And as an epiphyte, it will survive well in a smaller pot but when you notice the plant is outgrowing it, it’s time to be re-potted.
