This Gardenia plant features a beautiful glossy green leaves with flower buds. Gardenia flowers are extremely coveted for their amazing scent. *Not all buds may open depending on the growing conditions the plant is placed in. The plant is in its original nursery pot and is removable from the creamy white ceramic pot.

General Care Instructions: 

• Light: This plant requires a very bright spot to thrive. The plant will not flower well without adequate light and they require at least 6 hours of bright filtered light daily. Gardenias should not be left in direct sunlight for extended hours as this will cause the leaves to bleach out and turn yellow. 

• Water: The soil should be kept moist but not soggy. The soil should never be allowed to dry out as this plant is not drought tolerant.

• Notes: As the flowers die off they should be pruned off with shears to encourage new growth. Flowers may last between 2-5 days. This plant enjoys a humid environment and would benefit from regular misting for humidity and to keep its leaves dust free.
