Asplenium nidus ‘Crispy Wave’

This Asplenium Crispy Wave Fern is a beautiful bright green and luscious fern. With its fresh-looking thick textural leaves and air purifying qualities, it is the perfect green buddy for any home. The plant is in its original nursery pot and is removable from the decorative ceramic white pot.

These plants are native to Hawaii and the Pacific Islands. They love warmth and humidity.

General Care Instructions:  

• Light: This fern prefers moderate indirect light and deep shade to maintain its wrinkled shape. Too much light can cause the leaves to yellow.

• Water: Asplenium’s prefer evenly moist surroundings. Never allow the soil to become dry to the touch. However, take care not to allow the plant to sit in water as this can lead to root rot. Water from the edge and not in the centre of the plant. 

• Notes: This plant does well grouped with similar fern plants! And as an epiphyte, it will survive well in a smaller pot but when you notice the plant is outgrowing it, it’s time to be re-potted.
