Aeschynanthus 'Mona Lisa' more commonly known as a lipstick plant, a beautiful trailing plant with deep green foliage and lush red flowers that will keep you mesmerized and contemplative. This plant gets its name from its vibrant red flowers. In ideal conditions this plant can flower prolifically but will require the right balance of light and humidity.

Light: This plant enjoys a spot with bright indirect sunlight. Do not place the plant in direct sunlight as it will scorch the leaves.

Water: This plant enjoys constant moisture but does not tolerate being overwatered. Water sparingly but often to keep the soil even moist. The lipstick plant is prone to root rot if overwatered.

Note: This plant enjoys a humid location and would fare well in a well lit bathroom. The flowers do give off a slightly pungent smell, though it is not strong.
