Ctenanthe grown as house plants for their decorative oval leaves, which are striped, sometimes in a herringbone pattern, in dark or light green, yellow or silver, often with a purple or red underside. This plant follows natures rhythm, and its leaves fold upwards and downwards depending on the time of day.
The plant has been directly potted into a dark brown with a hint of green ceramic pot with a tray.

Light: Bright, indirect sunlight. Direct sun will burn or bleach their patterned leaves.

Water: Allow the top soil to dry before watering but do not let the potting medium to go completely dry. Little but often is a good watering strategy for this plant! The plant will require less water in winter versus summer.
